Competitions
Blackjack Competitions
Jack's Tables are multi-table, multi-player blackjack competitions. They add the excitement of competing against other players instead of just playing against the house. All players start with the same amount of chips. The play continues until either one player remains, the end of the final level is reached, or all players are eliminated at the end of a level. Winnings are awarded depending on the payout structure for each competition and the position that players finish in. Each player's goal is to accumulate as many chips as possible. Players who lose all their chips or do not have enough to bet the minimum stake in the next hand are eliminated from the competition.
Overview
In a Jack's Table competition all players start with the same chip balance and continue to play until either one player remains, all levels are completed, or all players are eliminated at the end of a round.
Scheduled Starts
Competitions start at their specified scheduled time, as long as the minimum number of players have registered for the competition.
Minimum Players
The minimum number of players for each competition will be 3, unless explicitly specified in the competition's description. If less than the minimum number of players have registered at the start time, the competition will be cancelled and all players who have registered will be refunded their entry and service fees.
Registering
Players can register for the next upcoming competition providing they have sufficient funds by pressing the 'Register' button in the 'Play' or 'Competitions' pages.
Fees
An entry fee will be payable to enter each competition, which for Jack's Table will be 1,000 chips. The fees will be displayed in the Competitions lobby and are deducted from your Yazino chip balance upon registration.
Prize Pool
Each Jack's Table competition will have a fixed prize pool totalling 40,000 chips, and award prizes as follows: 1st place - 25,000 chips, 2nd place - 10,000 chips, 3rd place - 5,000 chips.
Unregistering
Players can unregister from any entered competition by clicking on the 'Unregister' button in the 'Play' or 'Competitions' pages, or the Competion Info window before it starts. Players will be refunded any entry fees if they unregister before the start of the Competition.
Opening Tables
Competition tables can be accessed by clicking 'Play' while a competition is running in the 'Play' or 'Competitions' pages, or 'See Details' before a competition starts (your table will load from the Info screen when the competition starts).
Seating
Players are only allowed one seat in each competition, and their tables and seats are automatically allocated at the start of each level.
Dealing
The player in seat 1 is always dealt the first card. The rest of the cards are dealt to the other players in a clockwise direction. Similarly, the player in seat 1 will get to act on their cards first before the action goes to the next player in a clockwise direction. The insurance option is an exemption to this rule, and will be shown to all players simultaneously.
Re-Buys
No re-buys are allowed during competitions.
Info
Key details of competitions can be found in the 'Competitions' page, as well in the side-bar whilst playing in a competition. Further details including payouts and levels for each competition are viewable by clicking the 'See Details' button in the 'Play' or 'Competitions' pages, or the 'Competition Info' button in the game table window.
Levels
Every competition has levels, each of which has a specific minimum bet along with a time limit. The minimum bet will increase as the levels go up. If a player doesn't have sufficient funds to be able to bet the minimum stake at the start of a new level, they will be eliminated. The levels and time limits for each level may vary depending on the competition.
Winners
The 1st prize will be awarded to the last player with chips remaining. If all levels are played out, and more than one player has chips remaining, the player with the largest chip balance will be the winner. If all remaining players are eliminated at the end of any level, the player with the largest chip balance at the time they were eliminated will be the winner.
Ties
If multiple players who are in positions eligible for prizes have the same closing balance at the end of the competition, or when they are eliminated, those players will share the payouts for the position they occupy plus the payouts for the unoccupied positions below them. For example, if 3 people finish equal 1st, the prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places are added up and divided equally between the 3 of them.
Time-outs
The minimum bet amount is placed on a player's behalf if he or she doesn't place a bet and press 'Deal' in time during the betting phase.
If you time-out during your turn the dealer will automatically hit for you until you reach 21 or go bust.
Disconnections
When a player is disconnected he/she will be allowed to return to the competition table and continue upon reconnection, provided the same level is in progress as the one that he/she was disconnected in. If a new level starts while a player is disconnected, he/she will be eliminated from the competition.
